British Grand Prix at Silverstone
What do you need to host a spectacular dinner? A unique venue, some outstanding cuisine and terrific company. The media dinner hosted by Dom Reilly at Silverstone last Friday had the lot! The Williams F1 motorhome was the venue and Michael Caines, MBE, holder of two Michelin Stars was the celebrity chef. Several members of the media, including the BBC's Lee Mackenzie, (pictured above) were treated to a delicious menu of scallop and tuna ceviche, followed by wild line caught sea bass with saffron potatoes, fennel, mussels and bouillabaisse sauce.
The main event was beef fillet with braised ox cheeks and it was all rounded off with a raspberry mousse with pistachio ice cream and raspberry sorbet for dessert. Amazing food, great company and a spectacular venue. Thanks to Michael and all at the Williams F1 Team for a fabulous evening.
